I raise awareness about mental health by creating paintings, which are an extension of my bipolar.

One of my biggest passions in life is to raise the understanding of mental illness. For me personally, it's art that helps me manage my bipolar and allows me to be inventive. It's true that when I discovered art, I was at a destructive juncture of bipolar. But it was that duality that has helped emerge stronger - both when I've been on the verge on madness or lost in the throes of melancholy. Art provides me with a sense of contentment that I wouldn't otherwise attain.
